Who knows where we'll end up...

It is too early to tell where we will be actually traveling. Obviously I would like to go to the big name countries such as Germany, France, and the defending champs in Italy. Once the exact match ups and schedules get posted and determined, my cousin and I will have a route figured out. The WC runs from June 11-July 11 of 2010 so we are aiming for a whole month of traveling Europe.

Since we are both college students, cash will be slim. We have discussed about staying in hostels.
It should be an experience. They are low cost and we will meet a lot of people. If anyone has any relatives or close friends in Europe, and are willing to host a few nights of stay for two mannered gentlemen, please don't hesitate to ask or give us permission to ask. It would help us tremendously.

If not, it's still alright because this trip/documentary isn't about us, it's about Europe and the tradition of the World Cup and the sport of soccer all around the world. Soccer around the world is like football in America multiplied by 100. That's a whole different subject though.

Please leave comments. Thanks.

Forget this July...WORLD CUP NEXT JULY!

Thank the sports gods that the month of July is almost over. Seriously, is there any other month that has more limited amount of sports. I'm not dissin' on the MLB here. I am just saying, it is hard to go a whole month when the prime time sports are regular season MLB games and the July 4th Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest. You can only eat so many hotdogs! Honestly, I think that's why ESPN can't get enough of Brett Favre and his drama. That is irrelevant though.

The month is almost over. In a week or two we will slowing be transitioning into football and the Hall of Fame Game and the Inductees. At least next summer we have the World Cup to look forward to! Which I will be watching from who knows what European country. Yup, that's right, I am aiming for a 4 week Europe trip in July 2010 with my cousin. We will be filming the entire trip and all the cultural traditions each country performs for the World Cup.

If you would like to help out with the funds without actually giving up money (which I don't expect) then just send people to this blog. Copy the link and send it all around the web via facebook, twitter, etc.

Leave a comment on your ideas for the Euro filming. We will film EVERYTHING. If you have any request then please leave those as well. It is planned to be a full feature documentary. Give us ideas. Thanks. Peace.
